Helen Tita Brand, the daughter of the opera singer Marie Brema, played with Benson's company and appeared in twelve productions in the Stratford Memorial Theatre in 1906-08. Constance Benson mentions her several times in Mainly Players: Bensonian Memories, but only to note that she always knitted in the wings before she went on stage, claimiing it soothed her nerves. For some reason this really irritated Lady Benson. Ttia married the Belgian poet Emile Cammaerts and translated some of his poetry into English in 1915.
