The picture on the left is from a Rotograph card depicting Byron in Charles Klein's The Lion and the Mouse. Byron acted in the play during the 1906-08 theatre seasons. He did no work in a Shakespeare play until the end of his career--1936--when he played Polonius in Hamlet.
