William Bromley c. 1835-1888
    Although he exhibited extensively in London at the Royal Society of British Artists, the British Institute and the Royal Academy, we know little of Bromley's life except that he was the grandson of the the engraver William Bromley. Besides the painting listed below, there are additional pictures on subjects from King Lear, King John, The Merchant of Venice and a painting of Queen Katherine's dream from Henry VIII.
